Cosmic Vault is built with one core belief: your personal knowledge universe belongs entirely to you. We take privacy not as a feature, but as the foundation of everything we do.
Cosmic Vault stores all data exclusively on your device. Your links, constellations, visit history, brightness levels, colors — everything remains local. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of this information on remote servers.
There are no sign-ups, logins, or user profiles. You do not need to provide an email address, phone number, or any personal identifier to use the app.
We do not embed third-party analytics, crash reporting tools, advertising identifiers, or any form of tracking pixels. The app does not communicate with any external service except when you explicitly open a saved link in a web view.
Cosmic Vault is intentionally offline-first. While this means we do not offer cloud backup or cross-device sync, it also guarantees that your data never leaves your device.
The app requests no special permissions beyond what is strictly necessary to function as a link manager. It does not access your contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos (except for optional custom star icons if you choose to add them), or any other sensitive data.
Cosmic Vault is developed as a standalone native iOS application. The code is not open-source at this time, but our privacy model is deliberately simple and verifiable: everything happens on-device, nothing is sent out.
If we ever decide to change our privacy practices (which would only happen if we add optional features that involve external services), we will update this policy and clearly notify you within the app before any change takes effect.
